What is the Manhattan Resident tax exemption? How do I submit an application?

In Manhattan, parking tax is 18.375%. The exemption lowers the amount of tax by 8%, reducing the amount of tax you have to pay to 10.375%.

To be eligible for the exemption, your vehicle must be registered at your primary residence in Manhattan and the vehicle must be for personal use only.
